Joe Schmoen and Brian Meatboll are the next failed regime

The hubris of a man to think Nabers will bring this team to the promised land. Who’s going to throw him the ball? Let’s put all reasoning and logic aside for a moment and pretend that Daniel Jones is a top 10 quarterback in this league. Let’s say they start the season 5-0. Well the guy still has 2 cervical neck injuries and an ACL injury. The odds are not his favor to start 17 consecutive games ever again in his career.

Who is going to replace Daniel Jones next year? 2024 was inarguably the deepest QB draft for a long time. This was the year to get our guy. Was it a sure shot? Absolutely not. But what the fuck are we doing if we can’t even take a risk? Is the plan to go under .500 again and get another top 10 pick next year? We all know how that plays out. What will we gain when the top 4 QBs this year most likely outrank the top QB next year? Is the plan to see through Daniel Jones entire contract while he gets pummeled and plays maybe 10 games a season? If that’s the case, I surely hope this is a classic case of John Mara meddling and not a reasoned thought through scheme by our general manager.

Nabers will most likely be a very good receiver in the NFL. LSU has a very good track record of producing elite WR talent. The guy can ball, we know that. We had a guy here for a very long time, commonly known as OBJ, that turned heads around the league. What did we get after 5 years of OBJ? 3 atrocious years from Jabrill Peppers, 2 draft picks, and the boat pic curse.

It literally does not matter who is on your team if you do not have a Quarterback that you can rely on in the big games. Daniel Jones is the opposite of that. His primetime record speaks for itself. This is the New York fucking Giants, Big fucking Blue. Having 1 playoff win in a 5 year career is an absolute fucking joke. Let’s take look at the superbowl winning quarterbacks of the last 20 years:

Super Bowl 38. Tom Brady (MVP), 3 TDs
Super Bowl 39. Tom Brady (Deion Branch), 2 TDs
Super Bowl 40. Ben Roethlisberger (Hines Ward), 0 TDs
Super Bowl 41. Peyton Manning (MVP), 1 TD
Super Bowl 42. Eli Manning (MVP), 2 TDs
Super Bowl 43: Ben Roethlisberger (Santonio Holmes), 1 TD
Super Bowl 44: Drew Brees (MVP), 2 TDs
Super Bowl 45: Aaron Rogers (MVP), 3TDs
Super Bowl 46: Eli Manning (MVP), 1 TD
Super Bowl 47: Joe Flacco (MVP), 3TDs
Super Bowl 48: Russell Wilson (Malcolm Smith), 2TDs
Super Bowl 49: Tom Brady (MVP), 4TDs
Super Bowl 50: Peyton Manning (Von Miller), 0TDs
Super Bowl 51: Tom Brady (MVP), 2TDs
Super Bowl 52: Nick Foles (MVP), 3 TDs
Super Bowl 53: Tom Brady (Julian Edelman), 0TDs
Super Bowl 54: Patrick Mahomes (MVP), 2 TDs
Super Bowl 55: Tom Brady (MVP), 3 TDs
Super Bowl 56: Matthew Stafford (Cooper Kupp), 3 TDs
Super Bowl 57: Patrick Mahomes (MVP), 3 TDs
Super Bowl 58: Patrick Mahomes (MVP), 2 TDs

Aside from Nick Foles, would you compare Daniel Jones to anybody on this list? Do you want to win a Superbowl? Then we should have drafted a fucking quarterback! This was our best opportunity in years to turn this franchise around. Daniel Jones is not the guy. Drew Lock is not the guy. Tommy Cutlets is definitely not the guy. 2025 will not be a good draft for quarterbacks. We will never have as a good of a chance as we had today. Today’s draft was game 7 of the world series, we had a 70mph fastball down the middle to win the game and we didn’t even take a swing.

The future of the New York Giants is clear. Joe Schmoen will continue to build a balsawood house on a sinking foundation. Brian Meatboll’s head will look like a dried tomato every Sunday. In 2 years, we find 2 new schlepps to repeat the process. John Mara will continue to pretend to know what he’s doing, and continue to undermine the people he hires to a do a job he is completely unqualified of overseeing. He will continue to keep his unqualified family members employed in key departments in one of the worst displays of nepotism in the 21st century.

Giants fans, it’s time we accept a sobering fact. Coughlin and Eli brought us 2 Superbowls in spite of the Mara family, not because of them. Until this team has new owners with the willingness to fire every single person on staff we will not see a Lombardi trophy in the meadowlands for a very long time. Unfortunately, the Mara family loves to have kids, so even when Johnny boy leaves this earth we will get his equally incompetent nephew Christopher to run the show. If we’re lucky, he is a terrible father and has a drinking problem. This would mean he dies soon (he is currently 65) and his kids cash in on billions to sell the franchise to somebody who gives a shit. This is what we have to look forward to, not a new receiver, or running back, or edge rusher. We idly wait until the Mara dynasty perishes from this earth and our organization has a new leader to bring us to the promised land. This is our destiny. This is gods plan.
